The local office of the United Way will be moving.
The organization is currently in the process of moving into a new building inside the Pullman Plaza. The new office will be located at 124 Hollywood Drive.
Executive Director of the Butler branch of the United Way Amy Franz says the new location is a better fit for them right now.
“As people get back to in-person activities, we find ourselves needing a place to have meetings, and kit-packing events,” Franz said. “This space provides an additional 500 square feet and there’s a nice dedicated place for meetings.”
Franz says that she and her team are excited about the move.
“As silly as it sounds, but the camaraderie whenever the team gets together on a project feels good,” Franz said. “It’s also been a little nostalgic looking at things in the past, and it’s really exciting envisioning what we can accomplish in the new place.”
Franz hopes that the United Way will be up-and-running at their new location by December 18th.
