A local park will host an educational event this weekend that will feature the owls that can be found at night in our area.
On Saturday, the Moraine State Park naturalist will lead a short discussion and “prowl” that will highlight what owls can be found around Butler and the state.
The discussion and hike will begin at 7pm at the Kildoo Pavilion at Moraine State Park, and will continue until approximately 8:30pm. Participants are encouraged to bring a flashlight and to dress for the weather.
