Some major updates are coming to the high school football stadium in the Seneca Valley School District.
Earlier this week the board approved a press box replacement project at just over $1 million. They will also make the move to LED lighting at NexTier Stadium—that update will cost the district just under $500,000.
Officials with the district say that the 30-year-old press box is not ADA compliant and also doesn’t have enough room to hold the media and coaches during games.
Work on the press box is expected to be completed during this upcoming winter, after the fall sports season is complete.
