The Butler VA Health Care System will host a virtual gathering later this week open to all Veterans, community groups, and the public.
A virtual Microsoft Teams COMPACT Act Community Awareness event is planned for Friday from 1 to 2 p.m.
The COMPACT Act allows Veterans in a suicidal crisis to go to any VA or non-VA health care facility for emergency health care at no cost. The online event will include VA representatives providing information about the care available as well as responding to questions.
