No one was seriously injured as a result of a vehicle that crashed into a Butler Township store Wednesday morning.
According to Butler Township Police, a vehicle driven by 67-year-old Roberta Capella of Butler was pulling into a parking spot at the Butler Commons shortly after 11 a.m. when she accidentally accelerated instead of breaking.
Capella’s vehicle jumped the curb, struck the front window of David’s Hallmark, and drove completely into the store. An employee working on a display was able to jump out of the way but did sustain minor cuts to her hands from glass.
Both Capella and the employee were evaluated at the scene by Butler Ambulance but neither needed to be transported to the hospital.
