A vehicle led police on a chase that went over 20 miles and extended into Allegheny County.
It happened Sunday night around 6:45 p.m. when police tried to pull over a vehicle for a traffic violation at the intersection of Route 8 and Dinnerbell Road in Penn Township.
That’s when the car took off southbound on Route 8.
The pursuit continued into Shaler Township, when police ended the chase at the intersection with Spencer Lane Extension.
Police described the vehicle as a 2012 Chevrolet Impala. No details were available on the driver.
