The state is urging Pennsylvania veterans to take advantage of the many benefits available to them.
Pennsylvania’s Adjutant General, Major General Tony Carrelli, says PA veterans can easily find out free of charge about what benefits they’re eligible for by meeting with one of the 200 veteran service officers in the state.
Benefits range from health and disability benefits, to education and tax exemption.
Carrelli says it’s against the law to charge someone to access or get help with understanding their benefits.
The Butler County Veterans Affairs Office is located on the first floor of the county Government Center, which sits behind the Butler County Courthouse downtown.
