The public is invited to enjoy the history of America’s pastime at an event this weekend.
The Butler VA is hosting 1860’s Vintage Baseball Games Saturday at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. at the softball field behind the Old VA building on New Castle Road.
The Addison Mountain Stars will face the Somerset Frosty Sons of Thunder with tickets available at the gate one game day for a $10 cash only donation. Proceeds will benefit the Butler VA Health Care System.
This event will also include food trucks and veterans outreach information tables. Attendees are encouraged to bring folding chairs and picnic baskets. A handmade vintage bat and ball will be given away. Alcohol and tobacco products will not be permitted.
