Local residents are being asked to join in an effort to save lives.
The first of several local Vitalant blood drives will take place Sunday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at St. Joseph Church in Cabot.
Another drive is a cooperative effort of the Cranberry Township Police and the Seneca Valley School District planned for Monday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Haine Middle School Gymnasium.
Vitalant is offering all donors who give blood and opt into their Donor Rewards Program at a drive a chance to win one of three $10,000 gift cards.
Appointments are recommended but not required and walk-ins are welcome. More information can be found on Vitalant’s website.
