The Butler County Area Vocational-Technical School will be receiving a state grant to help train students to be ready for jobs that are in demand.
The PA Department of Education has awarded the Vo-Tech a $12,500 Competitive Equipment grant.
The money will be used to provide equipment and hands-on training to students in various programs.
Butler County AVTS is one of 39 career and technical centers and area vocational technical schools in the Commonwealth to receive a total of nearly $1.5 million in funding through the competitive grant program.
