Volunteers are needed to help with a couple of local attractions and training that will take place this weekend.
“Gristmill Greeter Volunteer Training” will be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 18 at McConnells Mill State Park. Those interested will be asked to commit to one day a week during the 2019 season.
Muddy Creek Oil Well Volunteer Training Day is also planned for Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the State Parks Region 2 Office in Prospect. Those attending this training will receive an introduction to the award winning antique restoration site and learn more about what help is needed. The Volunteer Coordinator position is also open.
