Leaders of the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education are meeting today and scheduled to vote on a move that could change the landscape of college in the Keystone State.
The proposal would see California, Clarion, and Edinboro are fall under one administrative umbrella by merging the institutions. Lock Haven, Bloomsburg, and Mansfield would combine in the eastern side of the state.
All campuses would remain open, but it could lead to major changes in faculty numbers and programming.
It’s unclear how the board of governors for PASSHE will vote on the decision.
