State officials are reminding residents that the deadline for voter registration is approaching.
Acting Secretary of State Leigh Chapman says that the final day to register to vote is May 2nd.
“The easiest way to register to vote is through our online voter registration system,” Chapman said. “They can go to vote.pa.gov and they can access our online voter registration system.”
Chapman reminds voters that Pennsylvania has a closed primary, meaning you must be a Republican or Democrat to participate in your party’s primary.
You can also register through the mail or in-person at the county government center on the Diamond.
