The former Vice President of the United States of America has agreed to take on a new role at Grove City College.
Pence will serve as the Distinguished Visiting Fellow for Faith and Public Life in the newly established Center for Faith and Public Life.
Grove City College President Paul J. McNulty welcomed Pence to campus on Thursday to talk about how his faith has guided him as a public servant. Pence called the appointment a “great honor”.
In his new role, Pence is expected to provide thought leadership through speaking and writing as well as visit campus to participate in events, interact with students, and teach a course with McNulty next year.
The Center for Faith and Public Life will study Christian conduct in public life, the relationship between religious beliefs and public policy, religious freedom, and the role of faith in every public sector of a healthy society.
