Visitors are welcome to an event later this week at a local state park that will focus on birds.
Moraine State Park will host a Warbler Walk on Tuesday from 8 a.m. to noon at the Pleasant Valley Launch Area on the South Shore.
Park naturalists and local members of the Audubon Society bird chapter will lead a short hike along the Sunken Garden Trail where participants will have the chance to spot as many warblers as possible.
Birders of all skill levels are welcome to bring binoculars, water, and snacks with some binoculars available if needed.
