Penn State Extension is offering an online program later this week about how local governments can help mitigate climate change.
A 75 minute webinar on Local Climate Action Planning: Penn State and Municipal Partners Implementing Together will begin at noon Wednesday.
An academic programs manager at Penn State’s Sustainability Institute will discuss the Local Climate Action Program which trains and assists local officials and community members about reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
This monthly land-use webinar series offered by Penn State Extension for a minor fee will continue through May. This program will be recorded and available for future viewing with more information available on the Penn State Extension website.
