There were 17 new cases of COVID-19 and no additional deaths reported by the state for Butler County on Wednesday.
That number is another double digit drop from the daily case count a week ago.
The latest update from the Butler Health System has seven patients being treated for COIVD-19 illness at Butler Memorial Hospital Wednesday morning while one is receiving care for COVID in the ICU.
Statewide, there were only 503 new cases—one of the lowest daily totals in months. There were 45 additional deaths and hospitalizations dropped again today by about 60 patients in Pennsylvania.
