Pennsylvania is reporting 780 new COVID-19 cases as the state closes in on 70,000 total cases.
Locally, two new cases were reported for Butler County, bringing the total to 222.
In total, there have been nearly 350,000 negative tests. The state is also estimating 62% of those who have tested positive have recovered.
The number of deaths went up by 115 in the state, with the death toll now at 5,265.
As of Wednesday morning, Butler Memorial Hospital is treating seven patients for COVID-19 symptoms, with one in the ICU.
After a meeting of the BHS Steering Committee, all Health System facilities are completely reopened with safety measures. Existing visitor restrictions remain in place but a visitation subcommittee has been formed to make recommendations about future visitation policy.
