There were 81 new cases of COVID-19 and two additional deaths over the weekend for Butler County.
That now brings the death toll in the county to 354 since the beginning of the pandemic.
As of Friday morning, Butler Memorial Hospital was treating 10 patients for the coronavirus, with two COVID patients in the ICU. According to our reporting, that is the lowest number of hospitalized patients with COVID since late October.
Statewide, there were over 6,000 new cases over the past two days along with 137 additional deaths.
