The state Department of Health is reporting just under 20 new coronavirus cases over the weekend in Butler County.
That brings the total to 421.
Hospitalizations are remaining low though at Butler Memorial Hospital. As of Friday afternoon, they were treating two patients for COVID-19 with no one in the ICU.
Clarion Hospital is treating three patients.
Overall, the state is now reporting over 95,000 total cases, and says they’ve seen a significant increase in the number of cases among young people—specifically ages 19 to 24.
The state estimates that 77 percent of those total cases have recovered.
