Anyone interested in learning more about native plants is invited to Moraine State Park this weekend.
On Saturday participants will meet with park staff at the Pleasant Valley Picnic Area on the South Shore for a 1.5 mile walk along Lake Arthur on the Sunken Garden Trail.
During the hike, participants will learn about native plants and how to bring the beauty of nature home through seedpods and dried grasses.
Saturday’s hike will begin at 1 p.m. and continue until approximately 3 p.m. Participants are asked to dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes or boots.
