What a difference a week can make.
During the last week of January, we were preparing for, and then in, a deep freeze that brought temperatures down to zero and wind chills as cold as -24. Schools were forced to close, and you couldn’t go outside safely without bundling up.
Fast forward a few days, and temperatures hit 55 on Sunday and expected to hit near 60 on Monday.
The above-average February temperatures should stick around for a few days, according to the National Weather Service. Temperatures are expected in the 40s on Tuesday, but will rebound and be near 50 on Wednesday and 60 on Thursday.
