The NBA’s Russell Westbrook and multiple Olympic gold medal winner Simone Biles won best athlete honors at the ESPYs last night (July 12th) at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. The Oklahoma City Thunder’s Westbrook won best male athlete at ESPN’s 25th annual sports awards show after a season in which he was the NBA MVP, led the league in scoring and set a record for most triple-doubles in a season. Biles won best female athlete after winning five medals, including four golds, at the Rio Olympics last year
