Rosemarie Trautman-Melanson and her two daughters were attending the Route 91 Harvest Festival when bullets rained down on the crowd from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Hotel. Rosemarie was shot in the chest and remains in critical condition.

KDKA-TV is reporting that Joe DeMore was not at the concert but he was a few casinos away at Planet Hollywood when people starting running in. They initially feared a shooter was chasing them. He told KDKA that he ran into a nearby restaurant and hid in a stairwell for 15 minutes unsure what was going on. He soon learned of the unfolding tragedy.
Andrew Walsh of Gibsonia was also in Las Vegas on vacation and found himself caught up in the chaos. Walsh is staying at the Monte Carlo Hotel and Casino but had plans Sunday night to stop inside the Mandalay Bay Hotel but decided last minute not to go. He was inside his hotel room when he heard the news.
In an interview Monday, Walsh told the Butler Radio Network he was looking for a place to donate blood to aid the victims. Police say more than 50 people were killed and over 500 injured in what marks the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history.
