Those interested in learning more about native plants are invited to Moraine State Park later this week for a hike along Lake Arthur.
The public is invited to meet with park staff Wednesday for a Wildflower Walk along the Slippery Rock Natural Area, across from Slippery Rock Campground on West Park Road.
This activity will begin at 7 p.m. and continue until approximately 8:30 p.m. During a stroll of about a mile and a half, participants will get a closer look at native plants and learn more about the beauty of nature.
Participants are advised to dress for the weather and wear sturdy footwear.
