William “Butch” Kamerer Jr

William “Butch” Kamerer Jr, 69, of Butler passed away on Wednesday, October 11, 2023. He was born in Butler on March 10, 1954 to the late William Sr and Helen (Vasbinder) Kamerer. William worked at Baglier for over 40 years. He was known for being a great husband, father, grandfather, hardworking, selfless, caring, giving, and helping anyone in need. William loved working on cars. He was the Crew Chief of Baglier Racing and he also coached basketball and soccer for his children and grandchildren. Butch was the beloved husband of Janet (Evans) Kamerer since their marriage in 1972; father of Bill (Jessica) Kamerer III, John Kamerer, and Jacob Pizer; brother of Rich Kamerer, Jackie Rhodes, and Patti Pulver; grandfather of Abigail, Kaleb, Ava, Maiya, and Payton; great grandfather of Bentley and Holden. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and his beloved dogs Timmy and Basil. William was preceded in death by his sisters Robin Leitch and Cheryl Browning.
