William H. “Bill” Krause, age 80, of Fenelton, passed away Tues., April 5, 2022 at Good Samaritan Hospice at Concordia.
Born Nov. 27, 1941 in Fenelton, he was the son of the late W. Melford and Mildred Herman Krause.
Bill was retired from Butler Memorial Hospital, where he worked as a plumber for 35 years.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He was a member of First United Methodist Church.
Bill and his wife Jan loved to travel, domestically and internationally. They also very much enjoyed spending the winter months in the western states.
He is survived by his wife, Janice G. Heist Krause, whom he married Jan. 9, 1988; three children, William Krause and his wife, Gigi, of Butler, Brenda Krause and Charlie, of Butler, and Brian Krause and his wife, Robin, of Butler; four stepchildren, Garry Scott and Jami, of Karns City, Cindy Lumley and her husband, Mark, of Apollo, Pa., Bryan Scott and his wife, Melissa, of Butler, and Tanya Wells and her husband, Dale, of Orlando, Fla.; two sisters, Janet Wahl and her husband, Lou, of Elizabethtown, Pa., and Carol McCall and her husband, Glenn, of Fenelton; 16 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received in the Martin Funeral Home, Inc., 429 Center Ave., Butler, on Sunday from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at First United Methodist Church, 200 E. North St., Butler, with Rev. David Janz officiating.
