William H. Watson Jr.

William H. Watson Jr., 95, of Butler passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2024. He was born in Butler on November 15, 1928, to the late William Sr. and Jessie (Black) Watson. William honorably served in the U.S. Army. He was employed at Magnetics for 40 years. William loved collecting trains and traveling; he traveled to Australia, Canada, around Europe and to many different states. He is forever loved by his partner of 24 years, Ida Cooper. Grandfather of Marissa and Rachel Watson; great grandfather to one great granddaughter. Along with his parents, William was preceded in death by his late wife, Dorothy (Black) Watson and his son Jefferey Watson who passed away in 2018. Family and friends will be received on Sunday, September 1, 2024, from 5-7 PM at the SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 NEW CASTLE RD. BUTLER, PA 16001. WWW.SPENCERDGEIBEL.COM.
