William J. Bajcz, Jr., 57, of Lyndora, passed away, Monday February 26, 2024, at the Butler Memorial Hospital.
He was born July 10, 1966 in Butler, a son Ascension (Martin Soriano) Bajcz and the late William J. Bajcz, Sr.
William was a 1984 graduate of Butler High School, also the Butler County Community College and received his bachelor’s degree from Slippery Rock University. He was a 25 year veteran of the United States Army, having served from 1986 until 2011, retiring as a Major.
He was a member of the American Legion Post #778 in Lyndora and was an avid model maker and reader and loved photography.
He is survived by his mother, Ascension Bajcz.
His brother, Maurice Bajcz, and his wife Veronica Szabo.
1 niece, Tara (Adam) Rearick.
1 nephew, Maximilian Bajcz.
1 great nephew, Micah Rearick.
1 great niece, Afton Rearick.
A brother-in-law, Angelo DiMichele.
He was preceded in death by his father, William J. Bajcz, Sr., who passed away June 4, 2016 and his sister, Rosary DiMichele, who passed away October 3, 2014.
Friends will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 East Cunningham Street, Butler, from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Thursday. A Blessing Service will be held on Friday, at 10:00 am, at the Funeral Home. Interment with Military Honors will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Butler.
