William “Willie” McConnell

William “Willie” McConnell, 67, of Butler passed away on Monday, January 18, 2021. He was born in Slippery Rock on November 2, 1953 to the late Thomas and Katherine McConnell. William enjoyed NASCAR, bowling, and solitaire. Above all else he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. William worked as a crane operator for years, he then drove for the Butler Transit Authority for 22 years and then drove school bus for Valley Lines for over 35 years. William was the loving husband of Adrian “Conda” (Bailey) McConnell; father of John (Tanieka) McConnell and Mandy (Jason) Robison; brother of Gerald (Sherry) McConnell of Florida and Gloria (Kenny) McAnallen of West Sunbury; grandfather of Tevin, Blayne, Laila, Keoni and Laynee; great-grandfather of Josephine, Katherine, Rhylee, and Brynlee.
