It’s going to be an active day weather-rise.
It’s been raining since early Thursday evening and will continue for much of the morning and afternoon on Friday.
Temperatures will fall throughout the day on Friday, falling into the 30s by 5 p.m. As we fall below freezing, we will start to see that rain turn into a wintry mix with sleet and freezing rain.
And then the precipitation will change over to all snow. According to the National Weather Service, Butler County will see between 4 and 8 inches of snow and sleet accumulation.
The snow is expected to be over by Saturday afternoon but the cold will remain. Saturday’s high is expected to be 15 degrees, with a low Saturday of 1.
