Butler County residents can look forward to a week of warmer weather after receiving a winter storm over the weekend.
According to the National Weather Service, Butler received more than eight inches of snow Friday night into Saturday morning. Not only were residents digging out Saturday morning, but they were bundled up. Temperatures felt close to zero at times when factoring in wind chill.
However, with high temperatures expected to be above 50 degrees to start the week, expect a fairly quick melt of the weekend snow.
The National Weather Service says that by the end of the week, Butler could see highs close to 70.
