It was a wintry mix that hit the area early this morning. Various parts of Butler County saw freezing rain, sleet, snow, or just rain at different times throughout the morning.
The mixed bag of weather prompted nearly all Butler County school districts to implement a two-hour delay.
Precipitation moved out of the area quicker than expected so the National Weather Service lifted the Winter Weather Advisory two hours early at 10 a.m.
But the wintry start to the day will soon be replaced by warmer temperatures. The NWS is calling for highs in the mid-60s with the possibility of sunshine.
