First responders were called to help a driver in Saxonburg this morning when wires came down across a vehicle.
A box truck was on Pittsburgh Street in front of the Subway when the incident happened around 8AM. The vehicle was blocking the southbound lanes of Pittsburgh Street for a time while crews worked on the scene.
Initial reports indicated that utility wires had come down across the truck right behind the cab. The lines that came down were not electric lines, although West Penn Power was contacted due to some wires coming loose from one of the buildings at the corner of Pittsburgh Street and Main Street.
Both Consolidated Communications and Armstrong were also called due to the incident.
