State Representative Marci Mustello (R-Butler) delivered a citation to Butler Radio’s WISR in celebration of their 80th anniversary.
The radio station was founded by David Rosenblum in 1941 as the first federally licensed radio station in Butler County.
The citation says in part “WISR Radio has made inestimable contributions to the welfare of society through a sense of fellowship and through its programs, which are designed to enhance the quality of life for all.”
WISR airs on 680 AM, and recently this year acquired an FM signal which airs on 107.5 FM.
