Governor Tom Wolf is continuing his push to get more people vaccinated.
Wolf spoke in Philadelphia Monday and said the vaccine is the best way to get back to normal.
“Every single Pennsylvanian has a part to play in overcoming this disease that took so much from us in this past year,” Wolf said. “Again, the vaccines are the key to that.”
Wolf made his comments at the Wells Fargo Center prior to the Penguins and Flyers game—and said vaccines will help put more people in the stands.
“Let’s keep in mind, vaccines are free. You don’t need to pay for them, and you don’t need insurance for them. They’re widely available and they really do make a difference, not only for you but for your community,” Wolf said. “And that includes everyone who is a sports fan. It’ll be really nice to see people inside the stands.”
Wolf also noted that Pennsylvania is ranked 10th in the country in vaccinating their population with at least one dose.
