One person was flown to a Pittsburgh hospital after a crash in Center Township Saturday afternoon.
The accident happened on Route 8 North near the Butler Flea Market.
State Police say that a vehicle driven by 21-year-old Athena Koutsouliou of White Oak was driving south when a vehicle driven by 27-year-old Kendall-Jem Brown was at the stop sign at Volkswood Drive.
Police say for unknown reasons Koutsouliou then swerved right and hit the rear of Brown’s car.
Her car then went off the road and rolled about 100 feet down a wooded area. The car came to a stop about half way down the hill on its roof.
Koutsouliou was rescued from her vehicle by emergency crews and then flown to a Pittsburgh trauma center.
Brown was not injured in the crash.
