One person was taken to the hospital after a crash yesterday in Jefferson Township.
The two-vehicle accident happened around 11:45 a.m. on Route 356 at the intersection with Caldwell Drive.
State police say 91-year-old Donald Loomis of Butler was pulling out of Caldwell Drive onto Route 356 when she collided with a car driven by 80-year-old Roberta Grondwalski of Natrona Heights.
Grondwalski’s car ended up in a nearby yard. She suffered injuries to her ankle and foot, and was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital.
Loomis and his passenger were not injured in the crash. Grondwalski’s passenger was uninjured as well.
Crews were on the scene for just under an hour.
