A woman was taken to the hospital following an early morning crash yesterday in Slippery Rock Township.
It happened around 1:30 a.m. on Ralston Road near Centreville Pike. State police say 20-year-old Sydney Benes of Erie was driving too fast around a curve when she lost control of her car.
Her vehicle then went off the road and hit a boulder causing it to go airborne. Police say while in the air, Benes’ car struck a utility pole.
She was taken to a Pittsburgh trauma center to be treated for serious injuries.
