Preparations for the Freedom Road Turnpike Bridge Project in Cranberry Township will begin next week.
Starting Monday, Feb. 11, crews will begin some utility work, surveying, and tree trimming as they get ready to replace the bridge which carries Freedom Road over the Pennsylvania Turnpike.
There aren’t expected to be any traffic delays or detours when work begins on Monday. Short-term utility traffic control will likely start this spring when crews begin utility relocations.
This is a $13 million project they won’t be completed until December 2020.
