Motorists planning to use the Pennsylvania Turnpike tonight into tomorrow morning should be aware of a road work project.
The turnpike will have traffic paces in place between the Allegheny Valley (Exit 48) and the Pittsburgh (Exit 57) interchanges beginning at 7 p.m. tonight and continuing until 5 a.m. Wednesday.
Intermittent 15 minute delays in which traffic will be restricted to a speed of 20 to 25 miles per hour will be in effect east and westbound to allow for maintenance crews to run utility lines.
The Turnpike Commission reminds drivers to expect slow-moving traffic with the work schedule subject to change based on weather conditions.
