Construction at the new site for the Butler Township District Magistrate’s office is expected to ramp up.
County commissioners approved contracts for electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and general contracting work for the renovation of the former Friedman’s headquarters on Fairground Hill Road.
Officials say once the contracts are signed, work is expected to get underway.
One of the major projects is to install proper lighting in the parking lot, that will need to be expanded in order to meet ADA requirements.
