Work to install new traffic lights on Main Street in Downtown Butler is expected to kick into high gear this week.
PennDOT officials say the work will happen Tuesday and Wednesday this week. The installation process will then continue next Tuesday through Thursday.
Drivers should expect delays in downtown Butler those days. Officials say flaggers will be stopping traffic in 15-minute increments in order to properly install the traffic lights.
The work will stretch from Wayne Street to Penn Street.
