A Worthington man died in a bicycle accident in Venango County over the holiday weekend.
Police received a call for a man who had crashed his bicycle on a private road in Sandycreek Township around 1 a.m. last Saturday. When crews got on scene they found 37-year-old Christopher Smith of Worthington on the ground an unresponsive.
First responders tried to revive Smith, but the Venango County coroner pronounced him dead at the scene.
Police say they are investigating Smith’s death as accidental.
