WPIAL Girls Soccer Semifinals:
3A:
–Mars defeated Belle Vernon 2-0 last night to remain unbeaten, and will play for the WPIAL title for the third consecutive year. Ellie Coffield and Taylor Hamlett scored for the Planets, who will meet Plum in the championship game, which will be played at Highmark Stadium in Pittsburgh. The date and time to be announced.
4A:
–The Seneca Valley Girls, defending WPIAL champions, were defeated by Norwin 1-0 last night.
Norwin will meet North Allegheny in the championship after the Tigers defeated Peters Township 2-1 in a shoot-out.
2A:
–North Catholic defeated South Park 3-0 and will play for their first WPIAL title when they meet Yough. Jayden Sharpless scored two goals for North Catholic.
–Freeport fell to Yough 3-0. The Yellow Jackets will meet South Park in the 2A consolation game, with an opportunity to advance into the PIAA tournament.
WPIAL Girls Volleyball Quarterfinals:
3A:
–Knoch defeated West Allegheny 3-1. The Knights will meet Franklin Regional in the semifinals Wednesday.
4A:
–North Allegheny defeated Seneca Valley 3-1. The Tigers will get Moon in the semifinals Wednesday.
–Pine-Richland defeated Oakland Catholic 3-2. The Rams will meet Canon-McMillan in the semifinals.
Tonight in the 2A semifinals:
–Freeport will face Hopewell at North Hills high school.
–North Catholic will meet Ellwood City at North Allegheny high school.
Both matches begin at 7:30pm.

6A Quarterfinals:
–Seneca Valley will travel meet Mt. Lebanon.
–North Allgheny will host Canon-McMillan.
5A First Round:
–Mars will visit Peters Township.
3A Quartefinals:
–North Catholic will face South Park at Stone Field in North Park.
