The Butler YMCA is getting ready to reopen their facility.
The organization announced that both the Butler and Cranberry locations will be opening next Monday with regular hours.
Officials with the Y describe it as a phased opening plan, so on Monday reopening will include: wellness centers, pools, sauna, steam rooms, and locker rooms.
Eventually other programs will be phased-in as well.
The Y says they have been consulting state and local guidelines to ensure the safety and health of everyone.
“The Butler County Family YMCA has served Butler County for almost 135 years, during which we have made it through many challenging times together, none perhaps as impactful for our community and our Y as this COVID crisis,” said Dave Hilliard, President and CEO for the Butler YMCA. “We are thrilled to begin reopening our facilities, welcoming back our members and the community, and getting back to what we do best – helping everyone reach their full potential.”
