A local restaurant is receiving hateful messages after announcing they would be hosting a “drag brunch” this weekend.
Our news partners at WPXI report that Burgh’ers Brewing Company in Zelienople have been getting a number of comments both online and by phone from people who don’t want the show in the town.
According to the restaurant owners, the messages got so bad they had to call Zelienople Police.
Burgh’ers is still moving ahead with the brunch on Sunday, but Zelienople Police say they are going to have more officers on hand in case of protests.
