A local borough plans to add more surveillance cameras due to recent issues with crime.
According to our news partners at WPXI, Zelienople’s council approved adding additional cameras throughout town at their meeting this past Thursday.
Authorities say that recent vandalism and destruction issues at Four Corners Community Park, among other recent incidents, prompted the action.
Zelienople officials say that the borough already has ten cameras that are actively used, and they plan to add approximately 20 more by January or February.
