The Pittsburgh Zoo is closing today due to the weather.
Officials say the safety of the animals and guests is the top priority. However, there will still be staff on-hand to take care of the animals.
The zoo will remain closed on Saturday and Sunday for Christmas.
It reopens to the public on Monday.
