James S. “Jim” Senopole, 85 of Butler, PA, passed away on October 18, 2025, at Butler Memorial Hospital.
He was born on July 17, 1940 to the late Anthony Senopole and Josephine (Liberto) Senopole.
Jim attended Ford City High School. He began his career with Beneficial and later worked for Baltimore Life, where he dedicated 30 years of service. He was a member of All Saints Parish, St. Andrew Roman Catholic Church. Jim was also a lifetime member of the Butler Township Volunteer Fire Department.
An active member of the Butler Umpires Association, Jim officiated numerous sports, including basketball, baseball, and football. He was also an avid bowler and participated in several local bowling leagues throughout the years.
He is survived by his loving wife, Esther (Hiles) Senopole, whom he married on November 21, 1964; sons, William (Debbie) Senopole and Jamie (Kim Darrell) Senopole; grandchildren, Cassie Senopole, Mason Senopole, Matthew (Sam McCoy) Senopole, Michael Senopole, Chelsea (Travis) Hill; great grandchildren, Tyler, Payson, Brooklynn, Lily, Lukas, Landen, Chloe, Kaiya; brothers, Bill (Ginger) Senopole and Richard Senopole; sisters, Marie (Andrew) Roth and Phyllis (Joe) Dziedzie, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday October 22, 2025 from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. and 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Thompson- Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 E. North Street, Butler, PA 16001.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday October 23, 2025, at 10:00 A.M. at All Saints Parish, St. Andrew Roman Catholic Church, 1660 N. Main St. Ext., Butler, PA 16001. All are kindly asked to meet at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Butler Twp. V.F.D. at 121 Sparks Ave., Butler, PA 16001.
